Natural Semantic Primes are the seeming universal semantic atoms of languages, according to theory. The Swadesh list is 200 words most likely to appear in natlangs. Vaior is a justly famed conlang, but don't neglect its smaller sister tongues either. Mavod is a nice sketch, and Hara has syntax I need to know about (Chinese / creole / isolating).
